Dr. Stephanie Gross Pierce Dr. Stephanie Gross Pierce is a board-certified family physician who has been practicing in the Kingwood area since 1998. Stephanie Gross Pierce, M.D. enjoyed her childhood here  in Houston, TX. As a young adult she set out to become a doctor, first she attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA and attained a bachelor of arts with honors in Philosophy and a bachelor in arts in Chemistry. But she could not stay away from Texas for long. She moved to Austin, TX and attended the University of Texas and received a masters of Arts in Exercise Physiology with honors. Then it was back home to Houston to achieve her dream of becoming a family doctor.  At Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Gross Pierce attained her Doctor of Medicine and went on to complete her residency training in family medicine as Chief Resident at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the Texas Medical Center in 1997.

While attending Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Gross Pierce had the honor of being the President of Baylor’s American Medical Women’s Association Student Chapter and the Vice-President of Doctors Ought to Care. It was during these voluntary activities where her compassion for people was united with her medical training. She continues to give back to the community and her alma mater through the Baylor College of Medicine Volunteer Faculty – Department of Family Medicine where she teaches medical students family medicine.

In 1998 Dr. Stephanie Gross Pierce opened Kingwood Family Practice Associates and became board certified in Family Medicine. It is here Kingwood, TX,  she found a home to give compassionate care to those who are in need. She deeply appreciates the opportunity to foster lifelong relationships with families and considers it a privilege to be part of a family’s health journey. Due to her strong desire to partner with her patients in educating them on how to prevent or control their disease and maintain healthy life choices, Dr. Gross Pierce was recently voted Best Family Care Physician by the readers of Living Magazine.
